"The Heat Death Of The Universe" Is a science fiction short story by Pamela Zoline. The story is told from the perspective of a 60's housewife who is obsessed with the cleanliness of her home. As the housewife goes about her daily chores we are given a look into her mind which is constantly removed from her current reality and instead more focused on science and the absurdity of existence, topics you wouldn't expect a 60's housewife to worry about.
